Ghosts’ Soiree

 The Ghosts’ Soiree was first born at the 2009 Wellington Fringe Festival at the Mighty Mighty Bar Cuba St. The set up was a vaudeville /cabaret style show and party for Wellington’s community of “ghosts”, a community in which the audience were automatically included, and who were “processed” into “their” world through a passageway of performers and a short check in with a clairvoyant character.

The acts in the show will be based on some real stories from Wellington/ Te Whanganui a Tara’s history, songs, dances, competitions and ghost activities the audience participate in. The style is comic and playful and encourages audience participation similar to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening, as a group.
